The Michigan City Rifle Club is one of the oldest privately owned and operated shooting ranges in the State. Its members began shooting together in 1935 in an open field just North of the South Shore Railway Car Barn facility in Michigan City. The Club was given two Cabooses by South Shore Railway and they were used by the Club for many years. That's why there's a Caboose in our logo. Since moving to its present facility in 1950, the Club provides both organized and self shooting experiences along with many social activities on its 14 acre property. There are plenty of opportunities during the month for novice and experienced shooters to further their abilities and knowledge. The Club is a truly unique organization and facility, offering members a 24x7 hour indoor range and a dawn until dusk up to 200 yard outdoor range. Our Facilities
